??? - ??? - ??? - ??? POV
Since ancient times, a world was created whose objective was to progress and live for hundreds and thousands of years, a very prosperous and rich land that could give a great future for many generations; but in hundreds of years, we had never managed to evolve so much, to be able to create several nations to receive infinite possibilities and rather intrinsic futures. During my tender age I could never understand what my goal was, nor why I came into the world; each of us was the protagonist of our own life and I found no possibility to understand my ideal: until something happened in a certain period that lit a flame inside me and gave me the right determination to become what that I wanted; a hero who believed in the hope and wishes of the stars.
Airontes - Year 644 - 8 November - ??? POV
It was a dark night, and the flames invaded the whole town, at that moment I didn't know anything about what was happening: the sky was all black and combined with a fiery and burning orange, I also felt that strong smell of the flames that pervaded my nose for a very long time. While I was walking and limping next to the wall of a house, it collapsed on me immediately afterwards, unable to understand anything of what could happen and losing almost all sense of my body: all that remained was my hearing since the rubble of the structure covered my sight and other senses such as touch, taste and smell, I was no longer able to perceive them due to the fear I felt. My parents saw the scene and tried to help me, trying to free me while I was almost unconscious, being a simple 8-year-old child who couldn't react, I couldn't do anything, except simply wait for someone who could save me. My family desperately tried to look for me, while I lay under some wooden rubble in danger of my life; I heard some absurd and heartbreaking verses, they were monsters who had invaded the empire for pure fun, they certainly came from some other place beyond ours. There were dark goblins and Valkyries who plundered and destroyed homes, killed people while smiling, and made victims scream agonizingly; logically they were happy to do such a thing, that is, to extinguish human lives given their putrid and monstrous nature, they were merciless and heartless beings: there was bloodshed in many places, in houses and in several paths of the country. Since it was a completely unexpected move for some adventurers, they tried to stop them but not with too much success.
"Come on guys, don't be intimidated, together... we can defeat them!" The adventurer tried to encourage the others by shouting with great determination, they had to protect as many lives as possible at all costs. The adventurer wore a beginner's brown coat, black trousers and used an iron sword as a weapon, keeping a rather youthful appearance.
"You won't get away with this, I will exterminate you!" He pulled his sword from the sheath on his back and ran towards the goblins, holding a determined look as he gritted his teeth. The goblins were green in complexion with completely black eyes without pupils, as a weapon they used a gray steel axe, holding a wooden handle.
Meanwhile, my mum and dad managed to get me out of the rubble, and I saw them again, albeit in a rather blurry way.
Rin Maedra: he had long blonde hair and a slim build with brown eyes, about 1.60 m tall and very large breast size; the look of happiness he gave off when he saw that I was still alive was indescribable. She was dressed in a long-sleeved white dress, with a black skirt that reached her knees and brown shoes.
My dad, on the other hand, was called Goro Nakamura: he too had a slim build, had short black hair and eyes of the same color, along with a small mustache slightly above the lip and was about 1.70 m tall. He was wearing an elegant brown jacket suit with white inner clothing, his trousers and shoes were the same color, with a tie on his neck that was red. They both had a sweet look, like fantastic parents: there wasn't a hint of evil in them.
"Finally... we found him, darling!" Tears fell in my mother's eyes, along with a big smile of happiness; meanwhile my vision began to become clear again as the seconds passed and I began to smell the strong smell of blood lying in several places.
"Yes, now we can also leave to find a safe place!" My dad quickly picked me up on his back as soon as he did, he started running with my mom side by side.
When we were leaving, suddenly a dark Valkyrie with golden wings came swooping towards us: she had bloodthirsty eyes and couldn't wait to be able to kill us in the most atrocious way possible, even making some rather monstrous noises as she came. towards us.
"OH NO, DAMN IT!" My worried dad started running as fast as he could, but he was too slow; suddenly behind us, however, my mother stood to protect us, opening and stretching her arms sideways.
“Darling… get the baby to safety.” As soon as my mother said this, she turned her gaze halfway around her and gave me a candid and sincere smile, as if her time was running out.
“Nooooo, mummyyyy!” I screamed at the top of my lungs louder than ever as I stretched out my right arm, I didn't want the two things I cared about most to die. My family was the thing I loved the most: in all the years I was living, they had never betrayed me and always gave me all the love in this world. Even when I felt desperate and hopeless, they were the light at the end of a dark and dark tunnel.
At the exact moment the Valkyrie was about to strike my mother, a knight appeared and pushed the Valkyrie back, using his powerful sword while holding a powerful and coordinated posture.
"Now you'll deal with me... you ugly monster!" A knight wearing silver armor with a sword of the same color, along with a blue thread in the center of the blade until it reaches the tip; he had blond bob hair and green eyes with a not too robust build: finally, his face, although youthful, made him seem more mature than normal. Putting more force on his sword, he pushed the Valkyrie back a few feet and then turned toward us.
"Run away! I'll take care of this beast." The mysterious knight who saved our lives ordered in a very authoritative tone, turning towards the Valkyrie immediately afterwards to keep her under his control: in the distance I was able to perceive the dark and acidic smell that that monster could give off, swallowing a bitter taste in my throat.
"Really, we will be infinitely grateful for what you did today!" My mom bowed quickly and smiled, running away so she could join us.
"(So, this means being heroes?)" I thought over my dad's shoulder as we walked away, seeing and admiring the knight fighting against the Valkyrie: he was really agile and fast, also holding devastating strength; I was really excited to see him and all the bad feelings I felt disappeared immediately.
"Of course, you're insistent huh?!" The knight said to the Valkyrie as he repelled her continuous attacks with violence: the being wanted to tear him with its claws.
The Valkyrie tried to lacerate some part of the mysterious knight's body with her fangs but without success, as she repelled every blow that came her way with her sword. Unexpectedly at very high speed, the Valkyrie flew to go behind his back, this way she could tear his back, fortunately foreseeing this, the knight took a leap and when he returned to the ground, his body began to glow white and said:
"Oh, my dear goddess who has given me this power, I will repay her by killing those who dare to stand in her way... Ray of Ice!" A beam of pure ice took the Valkyrie's back, piercing her completely, killing her in an atrocious cry of suffering and making her disappear in a cloud of black ash.
Seeing that scene, I was enchanted and speechless, it was truly incredible how a knight of that caliber was, I managed to kill such a scary monster with such ease, I would have really liked to want to become like him at that time.
"(So, this means being a knight...? It's absurd, can you be so strong to be able to protect your loved ones? I would really like to protect my parents...I've decided! One day I'll become an adventurer and then a knight. So, I will be able to protect the people dear to me and no longer fear anyone! It won't be easy... but I will try!)" I thought to myself, smiling, as I clenched my small right fist.
After that tragedy we lived at the house of a friend of my dads who owed him a favor, so he hosted us in that area until the town was rebuilt. After almost a year we had managed to return to our hometown.
When I reached the age of 12 I started training with the sword, I wanted to be able to defend myself at all costs: we couldn't continue like that, otherwise if those monsters had returned, they could have killed many other people and destroyed various countries, also knowing the news that some of them came from the shadow empire, a very large area that was completely different from us, governed by a ruthless emperor. Towards the evening, I often trained in a park next to my house, of course I also had to return early, since I was in the training period. From the age of 10 to the age of 13, we attended courses where we learned everything: the history of the past, basic magic, the language and even geography, to learn more about the place we lived in or what surrounded us.
Every evening I hit a tree in the park with my sword, I wore a normal blue t-shirt and trousers, at that age I had my hair in a bob and I had to get used to everything initially: coordination and weight in particular; I used a simple iron sword that my dad lent me, he knew that in the future I wanted to become a knight: I had obviously announced it to my parents, this desire that had been brewing in me for many years. Initially they didn't agree, but I have to say that I wasn't very convinced either, seeing as that time I was simply excited at the time, they told me it was dangerous, but after a nightmare I had I been more determined than ever. Every time, before returning home, I looked up and saw a wonderful starry sky: I never thought about the vastness of the world, how enormous and spectacular it could be. There were three large cylinders of a very hard steel material in the center of the park: I placed myself on top of one of those and began to pray. I wanted to be a hero and for everyone I cared about to be okay: I got down on my knees, started praying with my eyes closed and clasping my hands. After finishing, I looked up again and saw a shooting star; at that moment I thought that they could hear me and that they could answer my prayer.
Airontes - Year 652 - 1 September - Ore 8:00 - Kevin's POV
I was a 16-year-old boy who wanted to be an adventurer. My name was Kevin Nakamura: I was slim and 1.78 m tall, I had brown hair pulled upwards and I had eyes of the same color, but with a small hint of gold.
I couldn't wait to start my adventure as the big day had arrived. I had a look that seemed very docile and exuded sweetness, but in the end, I thought that if I had done it seriously, everyone would have to fear me; I would certainly have become very strong and protected anyone dear to me.
Almost 8 years had passed since that tragic event, when I admired that knight with the silver armor and I hoped that sooner or later I would be able to meet him in my adventure, being able to feel extraordinary emotions.
I started dressing early in the morning in a novice adventurer's outfit: he was mostly brown and with a white scarf around his neck, along with black trousers and shoes of the same color; the fabric of that garment could feel quite rough and thick as soon as you touched it.
"Ah man, I hope I can change armor soon: having this stuff on doesn't make me look like a great fighter." I contemplated in the mirror quite disappointedly. As soon as you entered my room, you could see from the front a desk containing wooden shelves with a chair of the same material, on the left a bed with white sheets on it and large enough to hold only one person, where on the wall, always on that side , there was a not too large rectangular window: you could see the strong sun coming through it.
"Okay come on... everyone starts like this, as soon as I come back here, I'll be unrecognizable!" I left my room determinedly and went downstairs, where my parents were in the kitchen, but I went straight towards the exit of the house. The entrance had an umbrella stand to the left of the door, while on the right you could hang jackets or jackets, the floor and everything else was made of wood.
"Here I am. Now I'm going to register for the card!" I exclaimed excitedly as I went down the wooden stairs, running towards the exit door with a gray backpack.
“Hey, wait honey!” My mother raised her voice using an affectionate tone, stopping me suddenly. She was wearing similar clothing when that tragedy occurred, but with a white apron on top and short sleeves; her face had also matured slightly and her smell exuded an absolute sweetness, making it clear that my mother was truly magnificent.
"Mmhh? What is it?" I suddenly turned to her before going to register, presenting a slightly perplexed face: I was very impulsive at that moment.
“You've finally grown up, so… as usual, let's give you some advice before you go on your adventure.” My dad said to me in an intellectual voice, coming closer to me and giving me a sheath with an iron sword inside. He was dressed in the exact same elegant suit, but with red jacket and black trousers.
"I want you to take it with you... and show the world who you are! If you put your best will even in the most difficult moments... you will come out victorious! Always remember that." My dad said, smiling at me proudly and convinced.
“D-Dad… I Will!” I replied, staying with an amazed and surprised face. I took the sword and hung it behind me, along my back while also holding my backpack at the same time.
“It looks great on you, Kevin!” My mom smiled and came over to give me my packed lunch.
"This will help you, since as usual you feed yourself a lot, hehe..." My mom let out a tender laugh, placing her right hand in front of her mouth.
"Yes... it's... it's true." I replied, looking down and suddenly becoming sad.
"Mmhh? What's wrong darling?" My mom asked getting a little worried.
"Well... I have always relied on you over the years... and now, suddenly, abandoning you and leaving for a dangerous path... all alone... who will cook me some delicious meals...? Who will help me sleep if I can't sleep...?" Saying all this, she began to shed a tear; my mother came near me and hugging me she said to me:
"Darling... you can do it..." A tear fell too as she tried to hold back, holding a candid smile.
"That's right! Don't be afraid of adversity! Face it heads on and you will go far!" My dad clenched his fist as a sign of confidence as his eyes became teary.
"Embark on your adventure, become strong, my boy...and when you have achieved your goal, come home. We will live as a family again!" My mom walked away and opened the door for me.
"O-okay... I'll go then... bye mom... bye dad... I promise I'll be back soon!" I ran with tears still in my eyes, heading towards the guildhouse that would register me and give me my adventurer card.
"Have a safe trip my son!" My mom and dad shouted at the same time, both raising their right arms in greeting.
Airontes was my hometown, very quiet and peaceful: leaving from the south you found yourself in an infinite and endless nature; the north exit instead was used to go to the next town. There was everything you needed: restaurants where evenings were spent having fun, hotels where visitors could stay and much more; it had a very ancient style with wooden buildings, together with a beautiful white terrain, which continued until you left the town and went towards the forest.
I arrived in front of the guildhouse which had a large sign with his name, from the outside it looked really well made and was about ten meters wide and five meters high.
"(Finally... the moment has come.)" I stood in front of the structure for a few minutes, feeling intimidated, I swallowed and then said:
"It's time to become an adventurer!" I courageously entered the guildhouse, so I could register and start my adventure.

Writer's Notes:
Welcome guys! Guess who I am... the author of the story hahahaha! It's the first time I've made myself heard and I hope you also like me u.u. This is the first time I've written an extra... and it will be about the writer's notes! Well, I think I will do it often since they can be considered useful! However, what will happen to our great adventurer once his adventure begins? We'll see it very soon... so I trust in you! But above all, never miss the extras in the chapters, they could be important notions or situations... as well as funny events... or even my simple senseless writer's notes... which I do a lot to make myself heard or to annoy you, obviously I'm joking haha! Having said that, I wish you a good continuation... the best is yet to come upon us!
Also, I remind my readers that this is a revised version in English, as the story is originally written in Italian. Therefore, any typing or grammatical errors are to be forgiven, and to be reported below in the comments if you want to help!
